"My ex is trying to get back together with me. I have no plans on going through with it but I sure am enjoying the sense of power I feel right now! Is toying with his emotions forgivable?"
True Confession: He wants to invite his ex to the wedding.
The ex-factor is one of the great guest list debates. In most cases, inviting an ex to your wedding is considered taboo, and rightly so. Why would anyone want to be reminded of their future spouse's past liaisons on one of the happiest days of their life?
We played paintball the day before our wedding. I walked down the aisle with a huge knot on my neck from getting hit with a paintball. It was fun though!
i told my 6 bridesmaids to wear a black dress that made them feel good, but to avoid anything super short or anything floor length. how much easier could i possibly make it? i KNOW they all alreday have dresses that fit the description!!!!but the drama queen bridesmaid went out and bought a brand new floor length dress anyway and asked me if it was ok. WTF?!?!?! bitch! I hate dealing with confrontation, now i have to tell her it is NOT ok... grrr...
My Mom shot down every single detail of the dream wedding I was planning. It seems my dream was very different from her dream. I got tired of the tension, and gave in. I just handed it all over to her, telling her I wanted her to do it because it was stressing me out. The truth was, I just hated to be at odds with my parents, who afterall, were paying for it.The wedding I ended up with was nothing at all what I really wanted. It was way too cookie cutter. She spent too much on things that were of no importance to me, and cut corners on the things that were.I lost all enthusiasm for the wedding, and just looked forward to our honeymoon. I love my parents and would never want them to know I did not have the wedding of my dreams, but I was really disappointed.

"We went to get our marriage license today. I wanted to hyphenate my last name and FH yelled at me and told me there was no way in hell that I was doing that...i cried...and am still crying a little bit :o( ""Consider this to be a SERIOUS red flag. I highly recommend some counseling. Could be a sign of some major insecurity or control issues on his part. Could be a sign he wants a cohesive family :)
Getting the big things done was easy. Dress, reception, food, photog, etc. All finished. It is the annoying little details like BM necklaces, flower girl shoes, and programs that are driving me OUT OF MY MIND.
